You needs a crown if the dental glaze is damaged by caries massively and if the natural crown can be not even restored by filling. With a crown the whole visible part of the tooth (functionally and also aesthetically) is restored. If still enough own dental substance exists, a dull construction on the remained dental substance can be modeled. However, to the sure anchorage a pencil construction, an anchorage element rising in the root canal, is sometimes necessary, instead.
Crowns made crowns are divided into metal-based crowns and crowns free of metal as well as into temporary crowns and finally. The metal-based crowns can be explained as pure downpour crowns, partial-blinded crowns or full-blinded crowns.

Besides, a blind-plastic is used as a blindness to Composite base (i.e. a mixture of a resinous matrix and ceramic fillers) or ceramics. The latter require a special burn up  alloy  which form a like-intermediatory oxide layer with the fuel process (800-900 °C).

Bridges
Krone Bridges are recommendable if a dental gap originates from dental loss and the chewing function and aesthetics suffers from it. Two teeth which limit the dental gap are polished and used to the steady anchorage of the bridge. The bridge exists of the joined pillar crowns and the connecting piece. The basic material is from  nickel free  metal and the outside consist of ceramics. In the front area where the aesthetics is very important become above all only ceramics.

Crowns, bridges according to rules of the Esthetic Dentistry

 Esthetic Dentistry was developed in Hollywood for the aesthetic dental care of the film stars. Since the first attempt this dental-medical area has become a wide branch. According to the rules of the Esthetic Dentistry for the production of crowns, the crown edge is used under the gums.

The crown edge is produced with a shoulder. In this area a special ceramic mass is raised by the engineer with very low shrivelling. These measures have to prevent the aesthetic purpose around a metal-coloured screening. In addition, these give to the crown edge also a bigger firmness!

To be able to polish the dental butt under the gums with the shoulder a special, twisted string was developed which is wrapped around the dental butt and is slowly pressed in, patiently by the dentist between the root and the gums. After short effect time the string is removed and the dentist can deeper trail.
Krone A string is used again and the polish process can be continued. At the end of the preparing a high precision impression should be also taken by the narrow gap between the gums and the root. In addition special impression materials are used by the company ESPE from Germany.
To be able to merge these materials homogeneous one should also buy from ESPE a mixing machine and in addition also a special gun. The mixing machine bottles the impression materials in 2 cartridges. These 2 cartridges are used in the gun. The gun owns at the end a snail who merges the impression material from two cartridges and injects by a nozzle into the narrow gap between the gums and root under pressure. This action requires a certain manual skill of the dentist!

Inserting a bridge
In the step 1 (see pictures from the left to the right) two neighbouring teeth are polished. The impression goes to the engineer, that produces the scaffolding; this is tried by the dentist on the dental butt. After some corrections the porcelain on the scaffolding is burnt and from the dentist tried up; after set of teeth tests and some postcorrections the bridge is stuck finally.

Bridge from full ceramics
Krone

Serves for the functional and aesthetic restoration in the front area. Full ceramics bridges are exact-suitable, highly stable full-ceramic scaffoldings. This scaffolding is with ceramic masses multi-layer blinded. The screening of the bridge is a proof of the fact that the bridge was produced of full ceramics. The colour is determined with every patient individually.
The bridge is:

  • for the highest aesthetic claims, how a natural tooth
  • from very high life span
  • very well acceptably, biocompatibly
  • for reasons of the stability not always applicable
Galvan crowns and bridges
Krone High-quality and aesthetically very attractive crowns and bridges care on a scaffolding of pure fine gold. Aesthetically, with good life span and highly exactly at the edge. The biggest advantage lies in the high precision of the crown / bridge.

Metall ceramic bridge

It is recommended mainly in the baking area, is cosmetic also a good solution. The metal core is blinded with dental-coloured ceramic masses multi-layer. The bridge is aesthetic, stable and can stand suitable, bigger chewing forces (with long life span) well to the baking area.

Metal ceramic crowns with shoulder
Krone These metal ceramics-crowns are so made that is to be seen in the visible area of the crown of no narrow metal edge. The crossing between the crowns and the natural tooth is produced of massive porcelain. The crown is aesthetic, a long life span has and is well acceptable dependent from the used alloy. The metal edge is not visible.

Pin-crown
Is an exact combination of gold, dental alloy, fiberglass or coal fiber pin. The crown has long life span, the aesthetics is also very good.

Crowns on implants
Krone Crowns on implants is more time-consuming than the application of usual crowns. The dentist should remove from the implants the healing screw, use the construction with the really elective correction corner and take an impression. The engineers mill the titan's construction perfectly one and if inevitably comes whole back to the dentist for corrections.
The engineers work with the labor-analogous superstructures bought for the patients and casting caps. The dentist uses for the impressions also impression caps, especially for the implant.

Bridge from full downpour
Krone The gap in the molar area is closed with a poured golden bridge. She has defective aesthetics and a very long life span. High-quality biology-golden alloys are recommendable.
